Flight B of the Championship hit half a hundred going into Level 3 and we are drawing live for knocking out the guarantee before we even think about tomorrow’s flight.

Table 9 is stacked with friends all in one place, around the horn with Kevin Blewitt, Bret Painter, Ray Mancini, Manny Minaya, Tom Nguyen, Karl Manouchakian, Tam Nguyen, and William Burdick.

Cards are in the air for the second flight of the 2025 TPC Championship with 33 players in their seats and many more expected with late registration available until 5:45 pm.

The first order of business is trying to chase down the $300,000 and it will take 118 to get there. If not today, very early tomorrow.

The second flight of the 2025 TPC Championship gets underway at 11 am and the $1,700 buy-in tournament will be shooting for its $300,000 guarantee. We need 118 entries to get there; if it misses today, it will get there early on Saturday.

Either way, we are primed for a big prize pool.

Players start with 40K in their stacks and all levels last 40 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 10 at 5:45 pm.

Play will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and survivors will return on Sunday at noon for Day 2.

After a long grind to get to two tables, it took another marathon to burst the bubble. They got there when Joseph Orsino’s AcJh could not beat the AsKs of Ken O’Donnell and the remaining 11 were in the money.

Aaron Speer bagged the chip lead with 726,000 followed by O’Donnell with 600,000 and Dion Jagroo with 581,000.

We will post the complete chip count list as soon as it is available.

Players returned from the last break of the day (mostly likely) with 17 players remaining and 11 advancing to Day 2. It should go another two hours but stranger things have happened.

Ken O’Donnell has the biggest stack at the last three tables, playing exactly 600,000 after the purple chip color up. Aaron Speer is second with 531,000 followed by Casey Grifford’s 322,000.
