Mike Balfe (Venice, FL) not only breaks the bubble, but takes the chip lead in a huge hand.

We didn’t catch all the action, but can report that Balfe hit set over set, Jacks over 6s, to take out an unidentified player.

“He kept betting and we got all in on the turn,” says Balfe who estimates that the opponent started the hand with 150k.

The big pot takes Balfe up to 540k and breaks the bubble sending the remaining 72 players into the money.

Balfe, start of the Day chip leader Tim Clermont (Tampa, FL) and Rafael Reis (Orlando, FL) are all over 500k.
