As the  inaugural Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Summer Poker Open Championship closes in on the money, the $1.1 million prize pool isn’t the only thing players have noticed about the series.

Great turnouts and excellent structures have run smoothly under the guidance of Tournament Director Byron Rodriguez, who is thrilled with the results.

This is Rodriguez’s first major series in Tampa  and is looking forward to building on the success. Without giving away any secrets, he’s already looking at the calendar for when he can schedule his next big event.
