Marshall was ahead for the triple up and stayed that way on the 8c6s3h4c8d board. O’Neal had the second-best hand but was left with only 45,000 after paying off Marshall. He was unable to spin it up and the 2018 WPTDeepStacks Tampa final table member was sent out in 20th place.

Dapo Ajayi

Event 13 had a huge turnout. With the results of the WSOP Circuit series so far, it should be no surprise that the last point-generating tournament pulled a massive group of players into the Event Center.

It drew  374 entries into the $600 buy-in tournament and there were still 47 players remaining when they bagged up for the night. Such a great end that the Day 2 restart was changed from 2 pm to noon to accommodate the return.

Dapo Ajayi starts Day 2 with the chip lead with WPT Season XII Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja in second and WSOP Circuit winner David DiBernardi third. David Prociak is still in the running for his second ring of the series (and third overall) and he’s also in contention for Casino Champion.

Cards fly at noon and we will keep one eye on them while our main focus with be the Main Event.

Top ten returning stacks:

  1. Dapo Ajayi – 446,500 (89 bb)
  2. Mukul Pahuja – 422,500 (85 bb)
