Event 1 Flight A: Monica Payraudeau Bursts the Long Bubble

$600 Double Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$500,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 21:  6,000/12,000 with a 12,000 ante
Players Remaining:  53 of 350

Monica Payraudeau

It took a long time for Flight A to reach the money bubble portion of the day and another good chunk of the clock to burst it. Several players were getting very short and that slowed down the action as players tried to sweat the bubble.

On the 10th round of hand-for-hand, one player was all in from the big blind for only 7,000. Monica Payraudeau came along from early position and the small blind player stayed in. The flop came Td9d5c and Payraudeau bet 20,000 after the small blind checked dark.

He folded and the tabled their hands after the rest of the action was completed on the other tables.

Payraudeau: QdQc
Big Blind: AhTh

The big blind player picked up a solid hand, paired his ten, but could not find a double as the board finished Kd and Kc.

On happy player was Erik Greulach. He was one of the other short stack players and slid into the money with only 7,000 of his own when he was next up in the big blind.

Event 2: Two-Table Redraw

$400 Pot Limit Omaha (Re-Entry)
Structure | Payouts
Level 16:  2,000/4,000
Players Remaining:  18 of 165

David Prociak

Shortly before the next break, Joshua Gilkerson was eliminated in 19th place to trigger the two-table redraw. They are down to 18 players and will redraw one more time when they reach 10.

David Prociak made it into the money but had to settle for a min-cash, denied his second WSOP Circuit PLO ring.

19th: Joshua Gilkerson – $674
20th: Duff Charette – $674
21st: Max Shuster – $674
22nd: Benjamin Miner – $635
23rd: Jeffrey Higgins – $635
24th: Dennis Moroni – $635
25th: David Prociak – $619

Event 1 Flight A: Nine Tables Remain

$600 Double Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$500,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 18:  3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 ante
Players Remaining:  81 of 350

Anthony Astarita

The action has slowed way down in Flight A with a lot of chips in play thanks to the double starting stacks. There are still nine tables remaining and the next milestone will be the money bubble when 54 players are around.

Anthony Astarita looks like the current chip leader and stacked a few chips more than 500,000 with another deep run in the works.
