Event 5

$600 Six-Handed NLH (Re-Entry)
Entries: 352
Prize Pool: $181,280
February 10-11, 2020

Arkadiy Tsinis

WSOP Circuit Event 5 continued the trend of huge turnouts for the series when 352 entries showed up for the $400 Six-Handed NLH tournament. The short-handed game played down to a talented final table and South Florid’s Arkadiy Tsinis conquered it to walk away with his fifth WSOP Circuit ring.

Our players combined to create a prize pool worth $181,820 and they made the money late on Day 2 with 53 getting paid.

Of those 352 entries, only 25 advanced to Day 2 and Tsinis was sixth coming back and he rode his stack to the final table. He stack was on a rollercoaster once they were down to seven players but he caught aces late to eliminate Michael Rossitto in fourth place.

Tsinis began heads up play by doubling up against chip leader Scott Dobbs on the first hand and he never looked back. He rivered a wheel on the last hand to take the title along with $39,527.

This is the fifth WSOP Circuit ring for Tsinis but he only owns his first. The rest he gifted to friends and family and he plans to do that with this one as well. Also, Tsinis isn’t resting on his laurels and immediately went the registration desk to register for the ongoing $1,125 Pot Limit Omaha game.

Congratulations to Arkadiy and thanks again to everyone for the great showing.

Final table results:

1st: Arkadiy Tsinis – $39,527 + WSOP Circuit ring

3rd: Ruben Javier Vallejo – $16,710
4th: Michael Rossitto – $11,672
5th: Stephan Nussrallah – $8,330
6th: Michael Tait – $6,076

Level 28:  30,000/60,000 with a 60,000 ante

Arkadiy Tsinis

Arkadiy Tsinis kept the pressure on the shorter stacked Scott Dobbs and extended his lead. Then Tsinis limped his button and Dobbs moved all in for 865,000. After confirming the count, Tsinis called.

Tsinis: Ad5s
Dobbs: 9d2d

Dobbs needed to catch to stay alive and paired his deuce on the Ks7d2h flop. The 3h turn gave Tsinis outs on top of his over cards and he made a wheel on the 4c river to lock up the hand and the tournament.

Dobbs earned$24,429 for his runner-up finish while Tsinis took home $39,527 and his fifth career WSOP Circuit ring.

Tsinis: AhAd
Rossitto: Kh8h

Tsinis had the well-disguised rockets in the big blind and they held after the Ac turn and 9c river for his double up. Rossitto was down to two big blinds and eliminated two hands later after making his second final table of the series.

Arkadiy Tsinis – 1,975,000 (40 bb)

Rossitto: AdKc
Nussrallah: JcTc

Nussrallah had two live suited cards, missed the 8d5c4c flop but picked up a club draw. He blanked the 6d turn and the 2s river sent him out in fifth place.

Action folded to Michael Rossitto in the small blind and he moved all in for 600,000 on the nose. Stephan Nussrallah called from the big with a chance to knock Rossitto out.

Rossitto: Kc4h
Nussrallah: AdKd

Rossitto was dominated but hit the Td7s4d to take the lead with a pair of fours. The 9c turn and 2h river changed nothing and Rossitto doubled.

Soon after, Arkadiy Tsinis moved all in for 775,000 from the button and Javier Vallejo called in the big blind.

Tsinis: AcJh
Vallejo: AsTc
