Ioannis Patsourakis

We had two quick doubles after dinner with Amelio Amato and Vitor Coelho getting a reprieve. Soon after, Ioannis Patsourakis opened to 32,000 from under the gun and Karl Manouchakian defended his big blind to the Qs6s4h flop.

Manouchakian checked, Patsourakis bet 40,000 and Manouchakian check-raised to 150,000. Patsourakis announced all in and Manouchakian quickly called the 320,000 shove.

Manouchakian: Qd6h
Patsourakis: KsJs

Patsourakis was on a flush drew against Manouchakian’s two pair but blanked the Ah turn and 7d river to exit in 12th place.

Karl Manouchakian – 1,350,000 (84 bb)
Ioannis Patsourakis – Eliminated in 12th place ($9,462)

Randy Spain

Justin Zaki opened to 27,000 from under the gun and Randy Spain moved all in for 111,000 from the big blind. Zaki folded but on the next hand, action folded to Spain in the small blind and he moved all in once again. This time it was for 156,000 and Zaki called after a short think.

Zaki: As7s
Spain: AhQd

Spain was in good shape for a double but Zaki moved ahead on the Kh7d6d flop. The 5h turn and 2s river could not save Spain to send him out in 13th place.

It’s been a nice run for Spain over the last few weeks. He finished 20th in the WPTDeepStacks Hollywood Main Event and followed that up with 23rd place in the Seminole Coconut Creek WSOP Circuit Main Event. Combined with today’s 13th place finish, he is set for a big run in the WPT SHR Hollywood Showdown Championship (our next big SHR Poker series).

Justin Zaki – 1,100,000 (92 bb)
Randy Spain – Eliminated in 13th place ($8,093)

Vitor Coelho

Vitor Coelho was under the gun and shoved for 98,000. Jeff Trudeau Jr. called from his direct left. It folded all the way around and Coelho and Trudeau were heads-up with Coelho at risk.

Trudeau: AsTh
Coelho: KdQh

Runout: AdKh2dQd6d

Trudeau and Coelho each flopped a pair, but Trudeau’s was best. The turn Qd changed that, though, as Coelho hit kings-up. The river was a blank and Coelho doubled through Trudeau. Despite the beat, Trudeau retained one of the biggest stacks in the event.

Vitor Coelho – 226,000
Jeff Trudeau Jr. – 1,450,000

Kitchen hit a boat on the turn and Vrabel was drawing dead. He was elminated in 17th place for $6,778 while Kitchen solidified his spot among the big stack.
