Julio Novo (Sarasota, FL) is back on the felt today, as advertised when he won Event 4, $560 Big Stack No Limit Hold’em.  Julio is a retired teacher and said he would be playing every event possible during the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Summer Poker Open.

His win in Event 4 almost never happened.  He busted out early on Day 1 and was all the way to his car when he talked himself into re-entering.  “It’s terrific.  The most important thing is not the money.  I was able to beat the best players in the area.  Most of them  played this tournament and I was able to beat them.  Now I’m more confident about my game.”

Taking advantage of the re-entry aspect of these tournaments paid off for Julio and he’s been back on the felt every day since.
