Another mix game will run this afternoon with SPS Event 16 at noon. And putting a twist in there. Instead of running some H.O.R.S.E. action, the rotation order has been adjusted for H.E.R.O.S.

The order will be Limit Hold’em, Stud 8, Razz, Limit Omaha 8, and Stud. H.E.R.O.S.

Players start with 30K deep stacks and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day trophy event. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm. The dinner break will last 30 minutes and start at 6:30 pm.

Since this is a one-day trophy, someone will take home a new trophy for the win.

Flight B of the 2023 SPS Championship is ready to go in the Event Center, with action kicking off at 11 am. Flight A set a good foundation with 198 entries and WSOP bracelet winner Jerry Wong bagged the biggest among the 37 that advanced to Day 2.

Championship players start with 40,000 in their stacks and the first 19 levels last 40 minutes, increasing to 60 minutes with Level 20. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 10 at 5:45 pm.

Flight B will play through 13 levels on Day 1 and survivors will move to Day 2 on Sunday at noon.

Registration closed for our first-ever $400 T.O.E. event and the tournament drew a very nice 60 entries. They created a prize pool worth $20,100 with the last ten spots getting paid. A min-cash is worth $520 and the T.O.E. champ will $6,460 plus the SPS trophy.
