We continue to see players join the SPS Championship with three hours remaining to register. Plenty of time to hit some new milestones.
Recent addition include Fabian Foster, Anthony Askey, Hyndi Khomutetsky, 2021 TPC Champion James Kerr, Josh Adcock, and Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler.
Khomutetsky was the last player to enter the Championship on a discount, winning her seat in the Last Chance satellite that started at the same time as Flight C.

Soon after the first break, entry 243 took a seat in Flight C to put the combined total at 667 for the SPS Championship. That number pushed the prize pool over the $1,000,000 guarantee and will continue growing until registration closes at 5:45 pm.

The first break ended, and players returned to their seats only a handful of new entries from surpassing the $1,000,000 guarantee. It will get there fast and continue to grow.
Randy Luther was the big stacks in the room with 156,600 and Wagner Wysotchanski was second with 149,800. But those spots swapped right after the break when Wysotchanski sent a player out with queens over nines to reach 207,000.

Two flights are in the books for the 2023 SPS Championship, and we have one more to go; your last chance at the title starts at 11 am with Flight C.
The $1,700 buy-in tournament put 424 entries in the game, and only 243 more are needed to surpass the $1,000,000 guarantee. It will get there sometime this afternoon.
Players start with 40K stacks and the first 19 levels last 40 minutes, increasing to 60 in Level 20. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 10 at 5:45 pm.
Flight C will continue through 13 levels and survivors will return tomorrow at noon for Day 2.
