James Calderaro

Flight C reached 177 players in Level 5 and that was good enough to put the Main Event entry count at an even 400 combined. The prize pool is only a few entries away from pushing the prize pool over $400,000.

Player number 177 was none other than WSOP and WPT Champion James Calderaro. The fun-loving grinder grabbed his seat this afternoon and already having a good time with his table.

“Caldo” earned his first major title in 2014 after he won the Seminole Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship to put his name on the WPT Champions Cup. Three years later, he added WSOP bracelet champ to his résumé when he took down the 2017 WSOP $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller.

Main Event Day 1C: Daniel Bismuth Leads Early

$1,100 Pinktober Main Event (Re-Entry)

Level 4: 200/300 with a 300 ante

Daniel Bismuth

The first break has come and gone and we located our early frontrunner. There were a few stacks over 50,000 with Daniel Bismuth holding the biggest at 69,000. That’s a better start than the previous flights at this point and we should have to monster stacks by the end of the day.

There seems to be no slowing down at the registration desk with another burst of entries including the six players who recently won their seats via the 9 am satellite.
