Haim Toorgeman

With the board reading Th5s2sJh, Wayne Daley bet 18,000 and Haim Toorgeman raised to 50,000 from middle position. Daley called, the river came 3s, and Daley announced: “all in”.

Toorgeman appeared to be unhappy, called off for his last 28,000 and Daley immediately said: “straight flush.”

Daley: As4s
Toorgeman: JdTc

Daley was good with the spade steel wheel (straight flush to the five) and Toorgeman was eliminated with his top two.

Wayne Dayley – 215,000
Haim Toorgeman – Eliminated

Trey Harrell (left) and Rex Clinkscales (right)

Action folded to Trey Harrell in the hijack and he moved all in for 24,000. Rex Clinkscales three-bet shoved his own stack from the cutoff to get folds from the button and blinds.

Harrell: 7h7s
Clinkscales: 6c6s

Harrell was dominating for the double and the Td4s4hQsAs board kept him in the game.

Trey Harrell – 24,000
Rex Clinkscales – 20,5000

Flight C Players Remaining: 138 of 275

Marvin “Duckman” Karlins

On the second hand after dinner break, Marvin “Duckman” Karlins open-shoved for 9,200 from middle position. The button opponent reshipped from the button for 23,200 and David Nathaniel snapped them both off in a hurry from the big blind.

Karlins: AhJd
Button: KhQh
Nathaniel: AdAc

Not a bad hand in the big blind with two all-ins in front. The board ran Qc8c3h5sJs to pair both Karlins and the button but neither was big enough to crack Nathaniel’s aces.

David Nathaniel – 120,000

Rodney Rodrigue

We took a walk among the tables while the players were on their dinner break and found a big stack sitting in the back of the room.

Rodney Rodrigue must have had himself a nice run over the first nine levels because he returned to the chip lead with 176,000. That would be a better-than-average Day 2 stack if he only manages to hover at that mark but he’ll be trying to push it higher

David Nathaniel

David Nathaniel was all in from the big blind for 46,950 and one player came along with a bigger stack. It was one of those classic races with Nathaniel’s QhQs ahead of AdKc.

He faded the Js6s3c flop and 8s turn. His opponent paired the As river but his happiness was short-lived when the dealer pointed out the river also put four spades on the board to give Nathaniel the big double.

David Nathaniel – 94,750

Dealer counts down Tomasz Szymecki’s stack

With the flop reading QsJs9d, a middle position player was all in for 7,525 and Amelio Amato called. Tomasz Szymecki moved all in over the top for 25,575 and the Amato went deep in the tank. After a few minutes, he released and the hands were tabled.

Szymecki: KcTc
Middle Position: KhQc

Szymecki had his opponent drawing thin with his flopped nut straight against top pair and the 6d turn left him drawing to three chop outs. The river came 3s and Szymecki sent his opponent to the rail.

Tomasz Szymecki – 43,500

Wayne Daley

The second break is complete and cards are back in the air. Flight C will make its way through three more levels before the one-hour dinner break and the closing of registration. That gives players a couple hours to get down to the poker room to join the fun.

There are no stacks towering above the others, no one over 100K after six levels, but there are a few getting close. The biggest belongs to Wayne Daley as he’s rocking the 82,575 castle after six levels. He ran deep earlier in the week when he finished 12th out of 560 in Event 3.

Hunter Cichy

Level 6 is about to close out and that means another break for the players. They’ll walk away for 15-minutes and return to play to the dinner break.

Hunter Cichy helped run the numbers up today and he has a chance for back-to-back final tables. He made our Event 3 final table on Wednesday and finished in ninth for a nice payout.
