Edgardo Rosario

The slow crawl to the money has begun and they are heading into Level 18 of the Main Event. The bubble should burst before they see another break.

Edgardo Rosario ramped his stack up over the last level and now sits with 1,075,000. Anthony Askey also added to his since break and joined the million-chip club with 1,030,000.

Blinds are now 4,000/8,000 with an 8,000 ante and the average stack is about 367,000 (46 bb) with 44 players remaining.

Jason Kapoor

The Main Event is down to the last six tables with 48 players remaining and 41 getting paid. We expect things to slow down as the bubble gets closer and the money is in sight.

Jason Kapoor is the first player over one million and his 1,018,000 leads heading into the bubble. It looks like a lot of that came at the expense of Jeremy Becker who is down to 115,000.

Players returned to their seats and everyone is chasing Anthony Askey at the top of the counts. He sits behind a castle worth 892,000 with Aiping Jiang not far behind with 872,000.

Cheers also to David Tuthill. He was one of our max late reg players this morning and turned his 50k starting stack into 316,000 at the first break.

Players are dropping at a faster pace than anticipated which means we’re getting some fast, early stacks. Jeremy Becker and Anthony Askey seem to be taking advantage.

Becker is up to 719,000 and having a good time. Askey pushed himself up to 591,000 and settling in for the long day.
