We had a big hand go down on each table with two different outcomes. On Table 20, Turan Gulati open-shipped for 290. Billy Sanford called, Hal Rotholz moved all in over the top to isolate.

Gulati was in trouble with Ad7c against AcQd but found a spade-chop when the board ran out QsJs8s2s9s. The pot was chopped and Sanford claimed to have folded pocket tens, one of them the Ts which would have been good for a straight flush.

On Table 21, Jason Kapoor put his short stack in the middle with big slick and Herbert Woodbery’s pocket tens held to send him out in 15th place.

Slow, deep structure means we only lost one player, Aiping Jiang, once they were down to two tables and those remaining took a 10-minute break when Level 23 came to an end.

Likang Berninger is now your chip leader with 2,220,000 after the Event 3 final table member tripled up his 135,000 with four tables in the game and now leading everyone. Karl Manouchakian sits in second with 2,130,000 and Maurice Hawkins holds 2,050,000.

Michael Rossi and Karl Manouchakian were heads up to a flop of KsJsTd and Rossi bet 50,000. Manouchakian called, the turn was 7h, Rossi moved all in for about 110,000 and Manouchakian called.

Manouchakian flopped the join but Rossi had outs to a full house. The 7s river was not one of those cards and he was eliminated in 22nd place.

The dinner break seems to have juiced the action a bit and we lost our players in less than a level. Former SHR Tampa WPO champ Bryce McVay and Rohan Long were sent out to leave 24 in the game.

Tournament staff paused the clock and they redrew new seats in the Main Event.
