Clyde Maliuka was a major factor in the Player of the Series race at last year’s September tournament series stop. The resident of Clearwater, Florida holds just over $400,000 in career tournament earnings, and it’s highly likely that he will add to that total here if last year’s series is any indication.
One year ago Maliuka finished second in the Player of the Series after appearing at five final tables. He won the $1,100 buy-in no-limit hold’em for $30,730. He has a total of ten tournament victories, and his largest score to date is worth $35,770 that came when he finished ninth in the opening event of the series here one year ago. Maliuka holds 255,000 with action approaching the end of day bubble here in Flight 1C.
