$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 19:  6,000/12,000 with a 12,000 ante
Players Remaining:  68 of 1,463

Richard Carr

Michael Miravi was the first to hit the million-chip mark but Richard Carr has joined him. The 2019 Tampa Winter Poker Main Event runner-up moved to 1,100,000 and it looks like most of that game from former leader William Davis who is now down to 200,000.

The payout line continues to move along and we will publish the updated results as soon as things calm a bit.

Event 2: Michael Miravi Back on Top

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$200,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 19:  6,000/12,000 with a 12,000 ante
Players Remaining:  73 of 1,463

Michael Miravi

Michael Miravi began the day with the lead, took a bit of a dip before the break, but he’s moving back in the right direction. He is the first over one million and his 1,160,000 puts him out front once again.

MT Tawfik looks like the second biggest stack with 795,000 after William Davis dropped under 700K after the break.

Event 2: Jacob Naumann Sends One Out

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$200,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 18:  5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining:  80 of 1,463

Jacob Naumann

A middle position player moved all in for 31,000 and Jacob Naumann three-bet to 75,000 from the hijack to get folds from the rest of the table.

Naumann: 8s8h
Middle Position: Qs5s

Naumann was ahead with the pair of eights and his opponent need to pair his queen or find some spades. The board ran KdJs8d4hTs and Naumann’s eights held to send one player out and build his stack.

Jacob Naumann – 430,000 (43 bb)

Event 2: William Davis Big Move to Lead

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$200,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 18:  5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining:  88 of 1,463

William Davis

“I just got really lucky,” William Davis told us.

We walked the shrinking field during break and Davis leads the way with 810,000 after Michael Miravi dipped to start his day. That’s a big number, especially considering Davis began the day with only 82,000.

There are a lot of players hovering in the 600K area so it’s still anyone’s game as they returned to action.

Event 2: First Break

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$200,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 17:  4,000/8,000 with a 8,000 ante
Players Remaining:  91 of 1,463

The two levels and change are complete and the remaining 91 players were sent on the first break of the day. Nearly 60 people processed through the payouts and things are moving right along.

Everyone is now guaranteed at least $970 with another pay jump on the horizon.

Clarisa Blakely finished in 139th place

The first round of results are in and the remaining players hit a pay jump with the really big money still waiting. Chris Perry’s bag began its day with only 15,000 but without Perry behind but slid up a spot from an extra $10.

129th: Thomas Elder – $910
130th: Evan Roman – $910
131st: Manuel Rivera – $910

Event 2: Thomas Elder Eliminated by Bryan Winchell

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$200,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 16:  3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 ante
Players Remaining:  128 of 1,463

Bryan Winchell

Action folded around to Thomas Elder in the cutoff and he shipped in for his last 27,000. The shove made it through until Bryan Winchell woke up in the big blind with a big hand.

Winchell: KcKd
Elder: AcTs

Elder needed to catch his over-card ace or some miracle runout but blanked as the dealer spread the 9h6h4dQhKs board to send out September Super Stacks Main Event champ out in 129th.

Bryan Winchell – 239,000 (40 bb)
Thomas Elder – Eliminated in 129th Place ($910)

Event 2: Christopher Mo Eliminated by Gabriel Garcia

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$200,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 16:  3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 ante
Players Remaining:  139 of 1,463

Christopher Mo (left) versus Gabriel Garcia (right)

The pace was a little slower at the start, players are taking their time picking their spots before mixing it up.

Christopher Mo was down to 38,000 and made a move all in from middle position. Gabriel Garcia raised to 70,000 next to act and the rest of the table folded.

Mo: Kd9h
Garcia: AhKh

Garcia was dominating with big slick and Mo, our 2021 WPT Tampa $600 Deep Stack champ, could not find a save on the Th5s3sJc8c run out to exit in 140th place.

Players Remaining:  148 of 1,463

Michael Miravi unbags and stacks his massive lead

Cards are in the air for Day 2 of TPC Event 2 with 148 players in action and we expect action to fly at the start. Everyone is in the money and trying to build a stack for the late stages.

Everyone is guaranteed at least $900 and we will see a line at the payout desk from the very start.
