Gabriel Garcia opened the action from the cutoff, the button player raised to 250,000 and Joshua Moore shipped for 580,000 from the small blind. Garcia called the shove and the button thought for several minutes before he folded fives face up.

Garcia had a bigger pair and it held as the board ran AdAc9cJd5c. He won the pot but the river five made the button player jump a bit.

In a battle of the blinds, both Steve Adams and William Davis picked up big hands and got their chips in the middle. Davis was at risk for 225,000 and needed help.

Davis had two suited over cards, missed the 7d6d5h flop, but picked up a diamond draw. He added chop outs on the 3s turn but blanked the Qh river to exit in 28th place.

A great run for Davis who came into Day 2 sitting 124th out of 148.

Another table broke and Event 2 is down to 32 players as the blinds increased. George Allen is also increasing on his own, up to 1,975,000 and on the verge of topping two million.

Bryan Winchell continues to lead and increased his stack to 1,650,000 and Enreko Fracassi is the latest making a big move and sits with 1,130,000.

There is a color up break on the horizon but staff needed to put some bigger chips in play before we got there. Bryan Winchell added so many to his stack that tournament staff pulled off half of his castle in exchange for five 100K chips.

He is up to 1,520,000 and taking his turn at the top.

After a series of unfortunate hands and raises, MT Tawfik was all in for 335,000 against the bigger stack of James Calderaro.

It was a huge race for a lot of chip and Tawfik needed to hold to double up. Calderaro took the lead when he paired his queen on the KcQd8c flop. The 9c turn and 3s river finished the board for a surprising end to Tawfik’s run.
