Action folded to Brian Altman on the button and he moved all in having both stacks covered in the blinds. Alexander Orlov folded his small blind and Sean Conklin quickly called in the big.

Conklin was in great shape for a double up and improved on the KdQc8d flop. The 4s turn and 3d river finished the board to give Conklin the double and Altman was left with only 85,000.

Those went in the middle on the next hand and his KsQs ran into the KhKd of Siddharth Siddharth to send the three-time WPT champ out in ninth place.

It folded around to Paul Snead on the button and he opened to 125,000. Brian Altman folded his small blind and Alexander Orlov called in the big. The flop came Jh8h4h and Orlov checked. Snead bet 50,000 and Orlov check-raised all in for 375,000. Before the count was complete, Snead called.

The 3h turn prompted Snead to ask for another heart to chop but the 5d river sent the double to Orlov.

On the first hand of the day, Paul Snead opened to 90,000 from the hijack and Brian Altman three-bet to 260,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds folded and Snead called.

The 2022 Tampa Poker Classic Championship is down to the last nine players and it is a very talented final table with Justin Zaki in the lead. He’s followed closely by three-time WPT champ Brian Altman but there is little distance between the top six players.

Justin Zaki began Day 2 with the lead and he finished it with the lead. Nine players remain in the 2022 Tampa Poker Classic and he will return with the biggest stack at the final table when they resume play on Monday.

But three-time WPT champ Brian Altman is lurking and the top six players are separated by only four big blinds. The title is still wide open.

Everyone is guaranteed at least $19,815 but someone will bank $198,150. Cards go back in the air at 2 pm with 4:32 remaining in Level 23.
