Asif Mohammed (fourth place), Matias Chervin (fifth place), and Ryan Hogan (seventh place) are all seats next to each other and Michael Jagroo (sixth place) is sitting on the other end of the table.

Igor Tretyakov won the $1,100 buy-in Event 2 title to start the series and James Calderaro won the $2,200 late last night; both won their seats in today’s field as an added part of their prize.

Ken Fishman has also been booking some late nights but twice fell one spot short of the title after finishing runner-up to Tretyakov and Calderaro.

Patrick Lovely

Championship players returned to their seats and we picked up a few more entries during the break. They are very close to putting $150,000 into the prize pool already and a lot of time to go.

With the deep, slow structure, there weren’t a lot of huge stacks in the room yet but Patrick Lovely is up there. He sits with 91,200 for the early lead with David Meagher not far behind with 86,900. Ryan Luker is sitting nicely as well with 77,300 and Terri-Anne Crawford is comfy with 67,700.

The Championship is bringing out old friends to the Poker Room and new friends as well. Steve Trizis is no stranger to grinding here and he’s our defending champion. Fallon Weidner traveled from Kansas just for the series and here in early action this afternoon.

She won the tournament for $3,149 and booked a $1,700 seat in today’s flight.

Good luck Barbara!
