Hassan Hakim continues to lead the Flight B field after the second break and he is up to 229,700. A good start for Hakim as we head into the middle portion of the day.

Albennes Armstrong is having a nice couple of days in the Poker Room. He went deep in Super Stacks Event 1 and had the chip lead heads up for the title. Armstrong fell one spot short but still picked up a nice $25K payday.

In addition to the prize money, everyone at the Event 1 final table also earned a seat in this tournament. Armstrong is here today and running great once again. He is up to 141,300 and contending for the chip lead once again.

We were summoned to Table 11 to catch a comeback. As told to us by the table, Curtis King was down to a single small blind, only 200 left of his 40K starting stack. But after a string of big hands and a quadruple up, King is back up to his starting stack after starting at the possibility of hitting the registration line again.

Hassan Hakim ran deep in the first big tournament of the series, ninth place out of 618 in Event 1, and running hot again this morning. His stack stood out among the rest of the field with two huge towers made from his 5K and 1K chips. Hakim is up to 194,900 after three levels and the clear early leader.

The $50,000 guarantee was hit as soon as cards went in the air and the field is only 21 new entries away from putting the prize pool over $100,000.

Flight A of Super Stacks Event 3 drew 90 entries to leave the field only a short distance to send the $600 buy-in tournament over its $50,000 guarantee. With 5 new entries today in the final flight, that number will be topped well before action gets going this morning.

From that point forward, the prize pool will continue to climb.

Players start with 40,000 deep stacks and all Day 1 levels last 40 minutes, going up to 60 on Day 2 and 90 after Level 22. Late registration is available until the start of Day 2 on Wednesday at noon with unlimited re-entries available during that time. Flight B will play 14 levels and survivors will bag up their chips for a return tomorrow.

Action gets underway at 10 am and we will pick up coverage after the first break.
