Mark Radcliff had the best of it preflop versus Oscar Zeledon. The pair went back and forth ultimately getting Zeledon’s remaining stack in the middle.

Three start days are in the book and it’s on to Day 2 of the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Poker Classic Main Event. The $1,650 buy-in drew a total of 332 entries generating a $498,000 prize pool. Following 15 Day 1 levels, only 58 remain.
Leading the action is Seminole regular John O’Neal. O’Neal jumped high during Day 1A and was never caught at the top of the counts with 455,000 chips. He’s one of two players over the 400,000, being joined by fellow Floridian Jeff Trudeau, Jr. who claims 453,500. The pair is neck-and-neck and leading the likes of Karl Manouchakian in third with 385,000.
The remaining players are jockeying for one of 34 in-the-money spots. A min-cash awards $3,416 while the tournament’s champion is reserved a $112,425 top prize. In addition, they’ll go home with the property’s token trophy — a guitar.

Flight C has come to an end and we have 31 players advancing to Day 2 tomorrow joining the 24 from the first two flights. Chad Kitchen pulled ahead late and put 306,000 away with Derek Worley second with 296,000.

Flight C was close to getting down to four tables when SHR Tampa regular Brandon Byars was in danger of getting it there. He was down to 36,000 and found in the big blind. He got his chips in against the button with and looking good.
The board ran out to put him up to 75,000. Much better shape with the last level on the horizon.
