AJ “Doc” Santos is a staple at any Seminole Hard Rock Tampa event. A regular in the cash room, he’s good for a handful of entries in any tournament. He hasn’t been around much for the WPTDeepStacks, but fired a few entries in the $350 before busting shy of Day 2.
Santos is in his seat and throwing chips around in Flight B as Level 5 is about halfway over.

2016/2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year points leader, Nathan Papp
The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year race begins in September during Immokalee’s WPTDeepStacks and concludes in August at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in Hollywood. Nathan Papp is the current leader for this year’s race having kicked off the season with a W in the WPTDeepStacks-Immokalee and continued his good play at that property with a runner-up finish in the Seminole Immokalee Poker Challenge a few months later.
Reigning Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year, David Prociak
Joining Papp at his Flight B table is reigning SHRP Player of the Year, David Prociak. As POY, Prociak earned a tournament buy-in package that included free entry in today’s Main Event.
