Paul DeRosa went bust holding pocket queens versus the Ax3x of Josias Santos. Santos spiked an ace and DeRose was eliminated 11th for $1,916. With his bustout, the field is down to the final 10 and freshly redrawn to the unofficial final table.

Gary “Elvis” Britt holds the chip lead with just under 1,600,000. All remaining players have locked up $1,916 with the tournament’s winner earning $37,657 as well as a $1,100 seat in tomorrow’s Main Event.

A dry runout didn’t improve Karlins and the dealer broke down their stacks. Karlins’ 12th-place elimination was verified. He earned $1,916.

After a rough stretch that was capped off by being crippled via David Albertson’s flush, a shortstacked Dominick Minaya got at risk preflop holding AhQh versus the JcJd of Andrew Lanoue.

The flop improved Minaya leaps and bounds falling AsKsQd and giving him two pair. The turn 3c didn’t change a thing. However, the river Tc gave Lanoue  Broadway and he busted Minaya 13th sending him home with a $1,474 score.

Minaya was preceded on the rail by 15th-place finisher Leonard Deboer.

Josias Santos is the tournament chip leader following a confrontation with Margo Costa. Costa raised from the button and Santos three-bet to 110,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Costa flatted . Santos and Costa were heads up to the flop.

Santos checked. Costa moved all in for about 125,000. Santos called almost instantly and plopped over KcTc for top pair. Costa was behind claiming QcTh for second pair.

The turn came the 7s and river the 2c. Costa busted 19th for $914 while Santos crossed the 1,000,000 mark and took the chip lead.
