Central Florida’s premier tournament destination kicks off its WPTDeepStacks series; five primary events headline the schedule June 9-20.
Satellite Wednesday includes 11am, 3pm and 6pm events with a combined 20 tournament packages guaranteed.
The WPTDeepStacks at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa begins this Thursday, June 9. The 12-day series boasts a plethora of tournaments, most notably a $1,100 buy-in, $300,000 guaranteed live streamed Main Event June 16-20. In addition to being the finale for the prestigious festival, the Main Event is one of 10 points eligible events in the 2015/2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year race.
The Seminole Hard Rock is known for drawing some of the biggest and most diverse tournament fields around. Late in 2015, the property’s $1,650 Winter Poker Open Championship drew 453 entries generating a prize pool of better than $675,000. With that tournament long in the books, all eyes have been on the WTPDeepStacks for quite some time.
Running through June 20, Tampa’s series is headlined by a $570 multi-flight opener, a $350 multi-flight prelim and, of course, the aforementioned $1,100 Main Event. Together, these three tournaments stretch the duration of the series and combine for a total of $600,000 in guaranteed prizes.

In addition to six figures worth of payouts, the WPTDeepStacks Tampa event is set to crown a Series Champion.
