Aaron Olshan

Aaron Olshan opened to 250,000 from under the gun, Dimitry Agrachov called on the button, and Fred Paradis called in the big blind.

All three players checked the Td9c6h flop and Paradis checked the 3s turn. Olshan bet 400,000 and only Agrachov came along. The river was 5s, Olshan checked, and Agrachov bet enough to put Olshan all in. He quickly called for his last 1,325,000 and showed Kh9h for a pair of nines.  Agrachov held KcJc for king high and Olshan doubled.

Event 32: Closing Out the Series

The last tournament on the 2022 WPT Tampa schedule is a big one. Starting at 2 pm in the Poker Room, Event 32 has a $5,000 buy-in with a slow, deep two-day structure.

Players start with 20K stacks and the first 12 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 minutes at the start of Level 13. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 7 pm following a 45-minute dinner break.

Play will continue through Level 15 and survivors will bag their chips for a Day 2 return on Wednesday at 2 pm.

  • Players begin with 20,000 in chips
  • Levels 1-12 last 30 minutes; Levels 13+ last 40 minutes
  • Late registration available until start of Level 9 (7:00pm)
  • Day 1 will end after Level 15
