The last big warmup before the Championship gets underway at 1 pm with Flight B of the TPC Deep Stack Challenge. The $700 buy-in tournament already beat its $50,000 guarantee and today was just more prize pool on top.
Players start with 30K deep stacks and all levels last 40 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 10 at 7:45 pm. Flight B will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and survivors will return tomorrow at 1 pm for Day 2.

Another non-hold’em trophy event hits the TPC schedule this morning at 11 am with the $400 Triple Stud tournament. It will rotate games between Stud, Stud 8, and Razz and guaranteed to be a fun time
Players start with 25K stacks and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day tournament. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. They’ll take a 30-minute dinner break at 5:30 pm and return to play down to our Triple Stud champ.

The first non-hold’em tournament on the Tampa Poker Classic schedule was the $400 Limt Omaha 8 tournament. It drew a great crowd of 66 entries on a Monday morning and Brian Ulch walked away with the title along with $6,980 for the win.

Registration closed for Flight A of the $700 Deep Stack Challenge with 101 entries already creating a prize pool worth $61,610 with another flight tomorrow.
Flight A will continue until 13 players remain and they will move on to Day 2 on Wednesday at 1 pm in the money. Players must bag chips to cash in the tournament.
