On a flop of , Christy Pham leads out for 3,200 and is called by Adam Santos. Gosbani Hernandez raises all in for 14,500 and Pham calls off her stack of 9,500.  Santos folds and the cards are turned up.

Pham shows , good for two pair and Hernandez tables , good for the nut straight. The turn is the , giving Pham a flush draw to go with her two pair. The river is the and Pham fills her flush and doubles up to 23,000.

Hernandez is crippled with just 4,500 in chips.

We missed the action, but Greg W got all of Julio Novo’s chips into the middle on a queen high flop with a pair of queens against Novo’s pair of jacks. Greg W chipped up to 130,000 with the pot, which is more than a quarter of the chips in play.

Daniel Tirrell raises from early position and Adam Santos calls from the big blind. The two see a flop of and they get the last of Tirrell’s chips in the middle.

“Ok, I got a wrap and an overpair,” said Tirrell with a sigh as he tabled .

Santos was ahead with bottom set as he showed . The turn is the and the river is the and Santo’s set holds up as Tirrell is eliminated.

Santos grows to 67,000 in chips with that pot.

On the turn with the board reading , Adam Santos bet the pot and effectively put Peter W all in for his last 23,000.

“Man, you’re like the only guy that I call with this here,” said Peter W. “I got an out too.”

Peter W eventually folds his hand and shows the . Santos shows , good for what everybody thought was a higher flush. Peter W then shows that he also had the in his hand and he had Santos drawing to just one out.

“You had it king high?” asked Phil Wasserman. “Then you were ahead.”

The whole table laughed at the needle as Santos scooped the chips. Santos climbs to 46,000 while Peter W has 23,000.

The players are back in their seats and the cards are back in the air. The blinds have been increased to 400/800.

The remaining 14 players are taking a 15 minute break.

Daniel Tirrell is facing a river bet of 10,000 from John Imhoff (pictured) on a board of and is in the tank.

“If a queen came on the river this would be a lot easier,” said Tirrell while contemplating his decision. “This is so stupid.”

Tirrell tosses in a call and sees the bad news.

“If you have a boat, you’re good,” said Imhoff as he showed .

Imhoff apparently misread his hand as he did have an ace-high flush, but also had the nut full house as well.

Tirrell showed an inferior flush and a king as he mucked his hand and needled Imhoff about the comment at showdown.

Imhoff scoops the pot and grows his stack to 33,000 while Tirrell slides to 27,000 in chips.

Mike Wakefield raises to 2,500 from early position and is called by Greg C (pictured) on the button and Skip Farrell from the small blind.

The flop is and Farrell moves all in for his last 2,725. Wakefield quickly gets out of the way and Greg C  goes into the tank for a few moments before begrudgingly tossing in a call.

Greg C shows , good for a pair of tens and is in the lead against Farrell’s , good for a pair of sixes.

The turn is the and the river is the and Greg C scoops the pot with a pair of tens while Farrell heads to the exits. Greg is sitting with 95,000 in chips and has over 20% of the chips in play with 15 players remaining.

The blinds have been increased to 300/600. We are down to just two tables with 17 players remaining in the tournament.

We missed the action, but Bobbi Smith was spotted getting up from her seat and heading towards the exit as she has been eliminated from the tournament.
