Edward Kofler

Just when it looked like the slow down was going to last a long while, we had three quick eliminations to get the field down to two tables.

First up was Edward Kofler. He open-shoved from under the gun for 105,000 and Tan Nguyen called from the big blind.

Nguyen: AcTs
Kofler: As4s

Kofler was dominated and nothing on the Qd9s3h3c7s run out could save his Main Event.

Shortly after, Dustin Geselius was all in for ~255,000 and Quyen Hoang had him at risk from the small blind.

Hoang: 9h6h
Geselius: QsJh

Geselius was ahead but Hoang paired the As9s8c flop. He began getting out of his seat but sat back down when the dealer put out the Qh turn. The save was short lived as Hoang made two pair on the 6d river to send Geseluis out in 20th place.

At the other table, Carlos Guerrero completed the trifecta and hit the exit in 19th place to set up the last two tables.

19th: Carlos Guerrero – $4,518
20th: Dustin Geselius – $4,518
21st: Edward Kofler – $4,518
