$1,650 Six Max Purple Chip Bounty NLH (Re-Entry)
Blinds 2k/4k/400 ante
After prematurely exposing his hand earlier in the tournament, Joe Gibbons does it again.
With the board showing and a healthy pot, James Kerr calls a 44k bet.
Gibbons quickly says “call” and turns over , thinking Kerr was all in.
The official ruling is that Gibbons cards are still “live” and the players will go to the river with Kerr knowing Gibbons has a straight.
When the hits the river, Gibbons says “all in” and Kerr folds.
“I’m sorry, it’s my fault,” says Kerr, “I thought you were all in.”
Kerr and Gibbons have been trading chips for two hours as heads up play continues.
