“It’s been going like this since I sat down,” says start of Day 2 chip leader Ray Prieto as he laments shipping another double-up. This time it’s 54k to Chris Labrie who spikes a set on the river with 88 vs Prieto’s TT.

“Make sure you put it was a two-outer,” says Prieto who began the day with 302k.

The hand leaves Prieto with only 7k (2.5 bb) and two hands later he’s all in and at risk against James “Ping Pang” Kerr.

After Kerr bets into the dry side pot, he turns over a flopped straight with QJ on a KT9 board.

Prieto has two pairs with KT, and when another King hits the river, Prieto triples up with a full house.

Kerr is leaking chips and shortly after the hand Prieto knocks out Kerr.

“From 300(k) to 7 to 80, crazy” says Prieto, who less than an orbit later gives media row another update. “Doubled again, about 150.”

That’s a hard way to play and earns our Hard Rock, Hard Play of the Day.
