$1,650 Winter Poker Open Championship
Level 8: 300/600/75 Ante
Defending Winter Poker Open Championship winner Andrew “AJ” Kelsall has been eliminated from this year’s finale for the third straight day. Kelsall played deep into the Day 1 structure during Flight A and Flight B, but ultimately met his match shy of a Day 2 berth. He re-entered for the third, and what appears to be the final time today. After chipping up early, he went bust midway through Level 8 and his back-to-back title run is likely over.
Last year, Kelsall defeated a field of 292 to earn the tournament’s $124,731 top prize.
