Poker officially returned to the Tampa area on Thursday, May 21st at 7pm! The action picked up right where we left it and now we welcome the month of June! The Safe & Sound program has been put into place for our guests and team member safety. Here are the answers to some of the commonly asked questions and things to expect:

• The poker room is running at limited capacity (34 of 46 tables)
• All active tables have Plexiglass dividers
• All games are running at a maximum of 6 handed
• Bonus $500 High Hands will take place on June 19th, 20th, 26th, & 27th from 2pm until 2am
• Guests now have the ability to call-in for their favorite game at 813-627-6650.
• Call-ins need to provide their players card number, and phone number. Guests are notified via text when their seat becomes available.
• Team Members and Guests are required to wear masks
• Cards and Chips are cleaned on a regular basis

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa will reopen at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21 under new and stringent “Safe and Sound” program guidelines. The guidelines include multiple new initiatives designed to create a Hard Rock entertainment experience in an environment that helps to keep guests and team members safe. Safe and Sound Program guidelines include:

• Temperature checks for all guests and team members prior to entry. Any guest or team member with a temperature above CDC guidelines will not be allowed entry.
• A requirement that all guests wear masks or cloth face coverings that meet CDC guidelines, without exception. Masks will be provided to guests, as needed.
• Thousands of alternating slot machines will be turned off, to help ensure social distancing on the casino floor.
• New Plexiglas barriers will divide players at table games, poker games and customer service areas.
• 850 signs will be posted throughout the complex to encourage social distancing and help ensure adherence to Safe and Sound Program guidelines.
• More than 100 team members will be part of a new “Safe and Sound Clean Team” to focus on cleaning and disinfecting surfaces throughout the complex, with special emphasis on high-touch surfaces and common areas.
• Hand-sanitizing stations will be available on the casino floor, at the entrances and throughout the resort.
• Constant purification and disinfecting of the air flowing into the complex through the AtmosAir™ bipolar ionization system designed to destroy virus particles in the air and on surfaces.
• An overall 50 percent reduction in guest capacity throughout the resort.

Restaurant venues including Hard Rock Cafe and Rise Kitchen & Deli will be open with social distancing requirements in place. At opening, 200 of the 800 Seminole Hard Rock guestrooms will be available. The Rock Spa will be open by appointment only. The Seminole Hard Rock Event Center will remain closed until further notice. No events will take place at the pool complex until further notice.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa is the first of six Seminole Gaming casinos to reopen in Florida. Opening dates for Seminole Gaming’s other Florida casinos have not been confirmed.

Seminole Casinos in Florida are currently open and constantly monitoring the coronavirus situation.  All poker rooms will close at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 until further notice.  Beyond the rescheduling of shows and other mass gathering events, the casinos have taken several steps to help guests maximize their social distancing, including turning off many slot machines to add significant distance between guests, plus limiting the number of players at all table games.

Tampa, Fla. (March 13, 2020) – Effective tonight at midnight, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s High Hands will be paid out according to the following timetable: from 11 a.m. until midnight, $300 will be paid out every 30 Minutes. From midnight until 11 a.m., $100 will be paid out every 30 minutes. High Hands will not have rollovers. In addition, there will be no Bonus High Hands or Mega High Hands until further notice.
For the foreseeable future, all guaranteed tournaments at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa will no longer have a guarantee. The leaderboard promotion will end as scheduled on March 17th. Players earning a prize from the leaderboard will be issued cash in lieu of tournament seats, when applicable.
The health and safety of players, guests and team members are of the utmost importance, and Seminole Hard Rock Tampa is aligning with local, state, federal and global public health agencies and guidelines.
