2025 SPS in Review

The 2025 Signature Poker Series made a change this time around, moving the two-week series to the end of July instead of September, and the move was well-received.

Guarantees: $1,050,000
Prize Pools: $1,931,970

We nearly doubled the $1 million in guarantees for just under $2,000,000 in prize money over 14 events. That’s a great result with some fun outcomes.

Antuan Bunkley came storming out of the gates and won the $500 opener for $85,000, and while they were waiting to find a champ in the multi-flight event, Laurence Cumiskey went and won two trophies during that first weekend.

Ash Chehate capped off the series with a great win in the SPS Championship, defeating top pro Stephen Song heads-up for the title and $164,320.

Ash Chehata, 2025 SPS Champion

The 2025 Signature Poker Series Championship was the headline event on the schedule and the $2,500 produced a fantastic field. It drew 352 entries, pushing the $500,000 guarantee into a prize pool worth $792,000, and local favorite Ash Chehata captured the title, along with $164,430, after beating a tough final table.

The Championship had 17 players return for Day 3, where the largest payouts would be made. Chehata held the lead from the start and never relinquished it. He went wire-to-wire with some great play and big hands, and defeated the talented Stephen Song to take the title.
