We had an excellent turnout for the first two flights of Event 1, a combined 410 entries to kick things off, and we expect another big crowd today. The $400 buy-in open has a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool that should be easily surpassed before too long.

Players start with 30K stacks and all Day 1 levels last 30 minutes, going up to 40 minutes on Day 2. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm. Flight C will continue until 10% of the field remains and those players will move to Day 2 on Sunday at noon in the money.

Flight B of TPC Event 1 drew another 210 entries for the tournament to put the combined total at 410 with four more big flights to go. Flight C starts on Thursday at 10 am with Flight D at 6 pm.

Flight B will continue into the evening until only 21 players remain. They will bag their chips and return on Sunday at noon for Day 2 in the money.

It took exactly 15 hands for Flight A to burst the money bubble. Tournament staff took two minutes off the clock for each hand and they were on the last hand of Level 17 when they lost a player.
