Before the blinds went up, Anthony Pellegrini shoved for ~60k on the river with the board showing .

Alexander Beece was on the button and tanked for a couple of minutes before surrendering.  “Show one time,” Alexander implored Anthony.

Anthony did not comply as he pushed his cards to the dealer and collected his pot.  “I flopped the nuts,” Alexander said, which meant he was holding .

Anthony gave nothing away as he collected the pot.

They’ll play four minutes of this final level, then bag up for the night.

Level 11:  Blinds 1k/2k/300 ante

Alexander Beece was up to ~165k.  Then he shipped a double-up to Greg McNealy.

Then CJ Prance shoved for 7,500 and Wade Whidden shoved for 38k.  Alexander made the over-call, showing .  CJ had and Wade had .  The board came giving CJ a flush and triple-up.  Wade got the side pot and Alexander dropped to ~90k.

Then Jeff Shurilla shoved for ~25k and Alexander moved in over the top from the small blind.  CJ was in the big blind and gave it some thought before committing her newly-acquired chips to the pot.

Manny Minaya got his 31k in the middle holding pocket 9s against Daiane Mendes, who held AT suited.  The board came and Manny’s pocket pair was good.

He doubled up to ~65k while Daiane dropped to about 15k.

Tom Nguyen has been on a rush.

First, he shoved for 11,750 on the turn with the board showing getting Daiane Mendes, Alexander Beece, and another player to surrender.

Then after Alexander Beece limped utg, Tom kicked it up to 3k.  The player in seat 5 shoved for 8,150 and everyone folded back to Tom, who called with pocket 5s.  His opponent had AQ offsuit.

The board ran out J J 2 3 6 and Tom collected another pot, sending his opponent to the rail.  Tom chipped up to ~45k.

Tom’s got Alexander Beece, the current chip leader on his immediate right.  Alexander is up to about 90k.

Gerald Silva took an early chip lead, peaking at about 60k  before the first break.  He’s fallen off the pace and now a few other players are building stacks.

Alexander Beeece is up to ~56k and appears to be in the lead.  Greg McNealy is close behind with ~55k.

Daiane Mendes is also accumulating chips.  She’s up to about 50k.

In case you missed it, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Poker Blogger Jeff Shurilla aka @ShurillaGorilla is in tonight’s field.

He proved he’s more than just a poker blogger last January when he booked a five-figure score at a casino in Atlantic City.  He finished 5th in a field of 818 entries in the $350 Big Stack NLH event for over $15,000.
