Jaeli Moron got all-in holding pocket 3s against Michael McLafferty’s AQ.  Jaeli flopped a 3 and doubled up, leaving Michael short-stacked.  He busted out soon after in 16th place ($620).

Alvin Gavile made a move from the big blind and ran into Cris Tuchbaum’s pocket Jacks.  Alvin’s T6 offsuit was in bad shape.  The board came T 4 2 8 9 and Cris chipped up to ~1.2 million.  Alvin hit the rail in 15th place ($945).

Barbara Cardin was the last woman in this event and she reported to the rail in 21st place ($525).  Now it’s nothing but testosterone from here on.

Ali Purdy was next to go in 20th place ($525), followed by Fidencio Velez in 19th place ($525).

After moving to the final two tables, Danny Castillo got all-in for 805k against Calvin Luong.  Danny’s KQ offsuit was racing against Calvin’s pocket 3s.  The board came 8 5 4 T J and Danny caught runner-runner for a straight.  He doubled up and Calvin was left short, busting out soon after (18th place – $620).

Next to go was Mark Scarewater, finishing 17th for $620.

Players have just returned from a break and only 21 remain.  Here’s what happened before the break:

Nicholas Nardello busted out in 25th place.

Peter Bogulski got all-in with pocket Queens against Francisco Contreras’ K2 of spades.  A King on the river sent the pot to Francisco — he chipped up to over 1.6 million.  Peter busted out in 24th place.

Greg McNealy raised from the cutoff only to have Joe Buonodono shove from the button.  Greg said “I was just makin’ a move”, but had to call the few extra chips, showing 75 suited.  Joe was ahead with AT offsuit, but the board ran out J 9 8 8 T giving Greg a straight.  joe got 23rd place.

Michael Armstrong busted out in 22nd place.

All these departing players earned $525.
