The Seniors Event is quickly growing and we are looking at a big turnout for the game. The $30,000 has already been doubled plus some more and it won’t stop until we shut down registration.
Mitch Mitchell is in town for the WPT Tampa Championship and taking a shot at the Seniors title. The newly turned 50-year-old is playing in his second-ever Seniors Event, and the first went pretty well.
Mitchell went to Vegas this summer, played in the WSOP Seniors Event, and had a great run to make the final table and finish in third place.

Every series, one of the most popular games on the schedule is the Seniors 50+ tournament. It’s back today at 10 am with a $400 buy-in and a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool.
It will be a fun day of poker in the Event Center.
Seniors start with 20K stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm and players may re-enter as often as needed during that time. There is a dinner break scheduled at 4:30 pm and they will come back to find out 2022 WPT Tampa Seniors Event champ.

We’re throwing around some more mixed games to close out the series with Event 16 getting underway at 6 pm. It is a $400 buy-in turbo that will switch between No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha every eight hands.
They’ll sit down to 20,000 starting stacks and levels last 15 minutes in the turbo. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 8:15 pm with unlimited re-entries. They’ll continue to play into the evening with another WPT Tampa champ crowned at the end.
