The entry count clicked up a few more and they are heading towards 100 entries at this pace to double the $100,000 guarantee.

Stuart Taylor was one of the recent additions to the tournament not long after taking home a TPC trophy. He outlasted a tough final table in Event 10 and earned the win in the $1,100 buy-in tournament, banking $38,395 after a heads-up deal.

Event 12 players returned from their second break of the day with 87 players pushing the prize pool up to $174,000. A big number that will only grow with more than two hours remaining to register.

We found two big stacks while they were gone. Sam Phillips leads the field with 164,300 while Rodney Turvin continues to ride his hot streak from last night’s third-place finish in the $1,100 NLH tournament and sits behind 141,600.

Wagner Wysotchanski (left) and Ken O’Donnell (right)

As expected, today’s field is stacked with talented players, both local and visitors from afar. They’ve helped create a big prize pool and what should be a fantastic final table.

Among the familiar faces, we found Wagner Wysotchanski and Ken O’Donnell seated next to each other a few hours after both made the Event 10 final table (seventh for Wysotchanski and fourth for O’Donnell) along with Caleb Piderit, Gerry Silva, Mansoor Kader, Karl Maouchakian, Jeremy Becker, and RJ Sullivan.

There’s still plenty of time to hop in the huge Event 12 field and the $100,000 guarantee was met levels ago. They’ve added another $50K on top with registration open until 7:10 pm.

This is going to turn out to be a great addition to the schedule and a nice warmup before tomorrow’s $2,500 buy-in Championship.
