Patrick Serda was down to 400,000 and moved all in from under the gun. Action folded all the back around to Paul Balzano and he called.

Serda had two live cards to double up but the KsJc6h9dAh board gave aces up to Balzano, sending the former chip leader out in 19th place.

There was a big three-way all in on Table 24 with John Ott having both Cameron Marshall and John O’Neal covered.

Marshall was ahead for the triple up and stayed that way on the 8c6s3h4c8d board. O’Neal had the second-best hand but was left with only 45,000 after paying off Marshall. He was unable to spin it up and the 2018 WPTDeepStacks Tampa final table member was sent out in 20th place.

Chris Hyden moved all in for about 450,000 and David Jackson called to put him at risk.

Hyden was in great shape to double up but Jackson paired his ace on the AcKd8s flop. Neither the 2s turn nor the 5c river help Hyden and he was eliminated in 21st place.

Action folded to Mike Shin in the small blind and he moved all in. Ionnis Patsourakis called in the big blind for 550,000.

Shin ran his jacks into a monster and could not come back on the KdTc6s7d4s run out. Patsourakis doubled up, Shin was left with a single big blind and eliminated shortly after.

Brian Ray opened to 80,000 from the hijack and James Calderaro made a three-bet to 230,000 from the cutoff. Nathan Russler cold four-bet to 980,000 from the small blind, leaving 10K behind, to get a fold from Ray and call from Calderaro.

The flop came AcKc7d, Russler dropped in his 10K in the middle and Calderaro quickly called.

A bit of a cooler for Russler and he could not come back on the Tc turn or 9d river to exit the Main Event in 23rd place.

Dergham was dominated and could not find a save on the Tc7d3h6dKc board to exit in 24th place, a nice followup to his runner-up result in the Monster Stack.

John Dwyer opened for his entire stack, minus a single 5K chip sitting behind. Isaac Kempton put him all in and Dwyer took several minutes before he committed that last chip.

Dwyer was in great shape to double but Kempton smashed the Ks8c3h flop, taking the lead with his flopped set of treys. The board finished with the Th turn and 8h for our first elimination of the day.

Action was fast right out of the gates and there were three doubles in the first few hands.

First up, Fares Santana got his stack in the middle with 8s8d against Paul Balzano’s AdQc and the pocket pair held up in the race.

Next, Michael Cohen was all in with AsKd after a TdTc7h flop against Isaac Kempton’s Qs8s. The Ac turn and 9s river finished the board to give Cohen a double.

The third saw Ronald Rosenberg pick up AdAc and he found a double against Serge Dergham’s 3h3c.
