When the field got down to 59 players, action was stopped to begin hand-for-hand play. But somebody else busted during one of the hands that was already in progress, leaving 58 players.

Since 58 players finish in the money, the bubble had burst and there was no need for hand-for-hand play.

The remaining players are all guaranteed at least $800 each, and the final 33 players will bag up their chips and advance to Day 2.

The third of seven flights of the WPT Tampa opening tournament starts at 5 pm in the Event Center. The $500 buy-in tournament already has 925 combined entries and tonight they will push the prize pool closer to the $1,000,000 guarantee.

Players start with 20,000 double stacks and run 30-minute levels on Day 1. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 9:30 pm with a single re-entry option if they are eliminated.

The top 12.5% of the field will make the money tonight and Flight C will come to an end when it reached 7%. Those remaining will bag up their chips for Day 2 on Sunday at 2 pm.
