We kicked off the 2025 Tampa Poker Classic with a huge $400 buy-in opening event. The tournament drew 1,029 entries to turn the $200,000 guarantee into a prize pool worth $339,570 and Dion Jagroo took the top spot for $56,940 plus the TPC trophy after a heads-up deal with Andrew Jones.

After battling through a tough final table, Dion Jagroo and Andrew Jones decided to finish off their day by rearranging the final two payouts.

Jones took home $37,920 as the runner-up and Jagroo earned $56,940 as the first 2025 TPC winner. This is his second major Tampa title, his first was a Signature Poker Series PLO title in September plus his own a Tampa Little Slick win.
