The first Saturday of the TPC series is here and we expect a huge day in the Poker room. The $400 buy-in opener already surpassed its $200,000 guarantee with the last flight getting underway at 11 am and running it up.

Players sit down to 30K stacks and the first 19 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 minutes with Level 20. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm.

Flight F will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and survivors will move on to Day 2 tomorrow at 11 am in the money.

As the field was playing down to the money and bagging for Day 2, both Eran Golan and Matt Longfellow were over 600K and vying for the end-of-day lead. Longfellow came close after a double knockout but his 607,000 was a few chips behind leader Golan’s 613,000.

The third and (probably) final break ended and players returned to their seats with 47 players remaining and 28 booking a Day 2 seat in a few levels.

Jake Ferror is the new leader, his 426K stack tops by a lot. Jason Andrzejewski sits in second with 329,000 followed by Evan Pantano with 311,000.

Flight E players are looking at the next break coming up and it should be the last of the day. We have 49 players remaining with 28 moving on, they probably won’t get another four levels in before that mark.

Registration closed for the fifth of six flight for the TPC opener with another 224 entries in the $400 buy-in tournament. They surpassed the $200,000 guarantee before the first break and the prize pool sits at $229,680 with one more flight to go.

Flight E will continue until 28 players remain and survivors will return on Sunday at 11 am in the money. Players must bag chips to cash in the tournament.
