The $1,100 Deep Stack drew 66 entries for a $64,020 prize pool and created a talented final table vying for the title. The last nine featured former champions Ken O’Donnell, Johnny Bromberg, Curtis King, Peter Walsworth, and Tarun Gulati.

But it was first-timer Carl Coppola walking away with the title, the SPS trophy, and $22,420. This was Coppola’s first Tampa tournament (other than two satellites) and he is undefeated thus far.
