Sean Troha

Sean Troha took home the top prize worth $31,740, along with the WPT Trophy tonight at the conclusion of a quick turbo pot-limit Omaha event tonight in Tampa. Here is what he had to say after the victory. “It was pretty crazy that it all happened super fast. Heads-up was just one hand. I was trying to order food three-handed, and then all of a sudden it was over,” said Troha.

“I just won every big hand in this tournament, whether I got it in behind, ahead, 50-50, I just won every time, so it made it easy for me, I didn’t take many big hits this whole tournament,” said Troha when he was asked about his journey through the tournament field.

With some newfound bankroll, and an extra boost of confidence, Troha is also going to jump into the Main Event:  “I think I’m going to play the main tomorrow, and maybe the next day too, and see what happens there. I will be here through the end of it. I’m more of a four-card guy, so when there is PLO on the schedule I’m more likely to come, and now they’ve got me for the Main Event because I came for the PLO.”

“This has been great, the casino is huge, it’s really nice. There is a ton of food, I didn’t expect it to be this much like a resort with a pool, spa, and all of that,” said Troha when he was asked about his experience at the property so far here in Tampa.
