On the very next hand after Alain Medesan was eliminated, there was an open to 75,000 and Sanjib Acharya three-bet to 250,000. Jamie Smith ripped all in for 700,000 from the button to get folds from the blinds. The original raiser folded and Acharya quickly called.

Yazdi Mehta opened to 75,000 from early position and Sanjib Acharya called from the hijack. Alain Medesan raised to 330,000 from the cutoff leaving 150K behind and the buttons and blinds folded. Mehta moved all in with his big stack and Acharya folded.

The 2022 Pinktober Poker Open Championship final table is set with nine players remaining and $111K awaiting the winner.
Matthew Leecy began Day 2 with the chip lead and ended the day with the chip lead, but it was not an easy path getting into the final nine. He had a rollercoaster ride after the dinner break but will come back with a chance for his second major Tampa title.
