Level 26: 30,000/60,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 7 of 560

Harold open-shoved from early position for 760,000 and it folded to Wally Maddah in the big blind. He did the slow peek at his cards, thought for a minute, and called all in for 555,000.

Maddah: AdJh
Alexander: 7d7c

Maddah needed to catch to stay in the game but missed the Tc9s2h flop. The 4c turn did nothing to change his fate but the Jc river sent him the double.

Wally Maddah – 1,200,000
Harold Alexander – 210,000

Level 26: 30,000/60,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 7 of 560

Wally Maddah open-shoved from the hijack for 560,000 and Harold Alexander moved all in from the button for more. That move elicited folds from the blinds and a mild curse from Maddah.

Maddah: 8d8s
Alexander: AhAc

Maddah laughed and stood up from his seat. Then sat back down after the flop came 8h7s5h. The 9c turn had Alexander asking for a six and he got his answer on the 6s river for the unlikely chop.

Wally Maddah – 615,000
Harold Alexander – 850,000

Event 3: Daniel Ramirez – 8th Place ($4,264)

$350 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Payouts
Level 26: 30,000/60,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 7 of 560

Daniel Ramirez

Daniel Ramirez lost a large part of his stack sending a double to Quentin Jones and needed to make a move. Harold Alexander opened to 120,000 from under the gun and Ramirez moved all in for 140,000 from the button. Stephen Bristow called from the big blind and Alexander stuck around for the extra 20,000.

Both live players checked down the 7d5d5sTs9d board and Bristow showed Tc9d for tens up. That was good enough to be Ramirez’ Ad7c and Alexander’s KhQd to take the pot.

Stephen Bristow – 2,150,000
Daniel Ramirez – Eliminated in 8th place ($4,264)

Event 3: Hunter Cichy and Eric Morian Eliminated by Stephen Bristow

$350 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 25: 25,000/50,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 8 of 560

Hunter Cichy

There was a long period at the final table where things were cruising along with no big hands. Then things went sideways.

Eric Morian opened to 100,000 from the hijack and Jeremiah Williams moved all in for 825,000 from the small blind. Morian called to create the first big hand of the final table.

Morian: KhTh
Williams: AdJc

Williams was ahead for the double but Morian hit the QhTs9d flop. Williams had open-ended straight draw outs along with his overs and retook the lead on the Ac turn. The river finished 5h to give Williams the double and put Morian down near the felt.

He found a small double up then saw Hunter Cichy move all in from the button for 755,000. Morian called all in for approximately 250,000 for the small blind and Stephen Bristow slow-peeled his big.

“(Expletive deleted),” Bristow said. “I need a count.”

After hearing the number, he called with a chance for the double knockout.

Cichy: Ac8s
Morian: KhTd
Bristow: AdJs

“I’m live for the triple up!” Morian exclaimed.

Bristow was ahead for the double KO and the Ah9d6s4d3d broke the logjam at the final table.

9th: Hunter Cichy – $3,199
10th: Eric Morian – $2,642

Herbert Woodbery

The final 12 players returned from dinner and wasted no time getting to the final table. Wayne Daley hit the rail on the first hand back and Herbert Woodbery was looking to send someone else. Gary Cordeiro moved all in for 580,000 and Woodbery called with a dominant hand.

Woodbery: AdQd
Cordeiro: Ac5c

Cordeiro was in trouble but crushed the QcJc7c flop to move way ahead. Woodbery picked up boat outs on the 7d turn but the Ks river was a blank to send most of his chips across the table.

A few hands later he was all in with Ah8s and racing against Harold Alexander’s 6h6d. That coin flip came to a quick end when Alexander caught a decent 9d6c6s flop to send Woodbery out after two rough hands.

Tournament staff paused the clock and they redrew seats for the final table.

Brandon Rivera

Action folded around to Brandon Rivera in the small blind and he moved all in for 345,000. Hunter Cichy thought for a moment in the big blind and called for a little bit more.

Cichy: 2d2h
Rivera: 6s3h

“You never thought you’d have an over!” Wally Maddah laughed.

Rivera was very live with the two over cards but blanked the AdQc7dKsTc board to exit in 13th place.

Hunter Cichy – 760,000
Brandon Rivera – Eliminated

Daniel Ramirez and Eric Morian were in a pre-flop battle when Ramirez four-bet shoved into Morian’s also huge stack. Morian called off for 799,000 total and was in great shape.

Morian: QsQc
Ramirez: AdJs

It was a great spot for Morian and his queens held on the 7d5c3h5sTh board for the massive double.

Eric Morian – 1,650,000
Daniel Ramirez – 476,000
