“Scooter Mark” Smith was on the button and opened for 52,000. Claudemir Osorio called from the small blind and it was on Vincent Censabella in the big blind. He three-bet to 152,000. Smith called as did Osorio. The trio saw a flop with nearly 500,000 in the pot pre.

Osorio checked. Censabella bet bet 330,000. Smith called and Osorio folded. Censabella and Smith were heads up to the turn.

Censabella checked. Smith, who had Censabella covered, moved all in. After a couple minutes in the tank, Censabella spoke up.

“Nice hand,” he said as he mucked.

Smith raked the pot uncontested while the table guessed his hand. Censabella voiced that he put him on pocketing jacks or KxJx. Whatever it was, Smith crossed the 2,000,000 mark and took the chip lead without showdown.

Manny Minaya was in a three-way pot with Parm Mehmi and an unknown player in early position. The flop laid 7h6s5h and the unknown player checked it to Minaya. He put a stack of gray 5,000 chips in the middle and Mehmi nearly beat him onto the felt moving all in. The early position player folded and Minaya called off.

Tom Nguyen opened to 29,000 from the cutoff. Seyed Ali called from the button as did the player in the small blind. The big blind folded and they were three-handed to the flop. The small blind checked in the dark.

The action started on Nguyen. He cut out 55,000 and pushed it in the pot. Ali took a minute before folding the button and the small blind quickly got out of the way. With that, Nguyen, whose stack had taken a hit, is back up to the 850,000 range.

Sure enough, Karlins held the signature pocket twos, but needed a lot of help if he wanted to stay alive. Unfortunately, the board ran out bricks and Karlins was eliminated 38th for $1,536. Mehmi raked the pot and became the first player to crack the 1,000,000 mark. She holds 1,390,000.
