The third of six starting flights in the Winter Poker Open is underway at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. As is, the field stands at 198 entries through yesterday’s Flight A and B. Today’s fields will do its part to help grow the kiddie and push the prize pool up over the $150,000 guarantee.

As they did yesterday, players begin with 20,000 chips and log 30-minute levels throughout. Registration and re-entry are available until the start of Level 9 with play concluding following Level 14.

The second flight of the opening tournament on the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Winter Poker Open schedule is underway and getting the field closer to the $150,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The opening Event 1 flight drew 105 entrants to put it on an easy pace to hit the magic number and we expect somewhere similar this evening.

Entrants start with 20,000 starting stacks and play 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 10:30pm with unlimited re-entries during that time. The day will end after Level 14 and survivors will bag up for a Day 2 return.

The wait is over and it’s time to start the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Winter Poker Open. The schedule has 14 big events along with another 14 tournaments on the side event/satellite schedule. We kick things off with a multi-day tournament sporting a nice, big guaranteed prize pool.

Event 1 is a $350 buy-in Deep Stack tournament with a $150,000 Guarantee and six starting flights. Today is the first with another running tonight at 6pm.

Tournament entrants will start with 20,000 stacks and play 30-minute levels throughout Day 1. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 around 3:30pm and they will play down from there until the end of Level 14.

Those with chips at that time will bag them up for a return on Day 2. This is “best stack forward” tournament so players can enter as many flights as they’d like and their biggest bag will be put in action for Day 2.

Cards will fly at the top of the hours to kick off the 2016 WPO.
