Tampa, Fla. (February 16, 2015) — The 2016 Presidents’ Day Deep Stack shattered expectations and blew the doors off the poker room Monday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa. The $250 buy-in, $30,000 guaranteed event drew a field of 509 entries obliterating the targeted prize pool before topping it out at $106,890.
The top 54 spots paid and the tournament saw the final table agree to a 10-way, ICM deal. Raphael Doromal of Orlando held the chip lead at the time and went home as the tournament’s champion. He turned his $250 buy-in into $10,400.
