Leif Oskarsson

Leif Oskarsson was the short stack after sending a double up to Parm Mehmi and then he lost a sizable pot to leave him in need of a double himself. He moved all in for 126,000 and Charles Kapetanakos called.

Charles Kapetanakos: QdQs
Oskarsson: Kd8d

“Well, I have an over,” Oskarsson half-joked. “Good game guys.”

The Tc9d2c5s7d board could not keep him around and he was sent out in 19th place.

Tournament staff broke Table 13 and get the field down to two tables.

While that was going on, Timothy Steorts was eliminated in 18th place and the remaining players took off on a 40-minute dinner break.

There was a lot of tension on Table 2 as a huge pot was built. Nick Luczyk open-shoved for 221,000 and Curtis Stroman called with around 40,000 behind. Andrew Pacifico took his time in the small blind and eventually put out a full barrel of 25K chips for a 500,000 bet. Jean Brigagao folded his big blind and Stroman called for the three-way all in.

Stroman: AsQh
Pacifico: AhQd
Luczyk: AdQs

The tension was instantly relieved and the 9h3d2c flop met they would all chop it up.

When they return, they will play three more levels and then take a 40-minute dinner break.
